The mostly-neutral range was anything but one-dimensional.
Nigerian designer Yutee Rone has released Spring Summer collection from her eponymous brand. This comes in just in time to get our wardrobes ready and revive our summer bodies. The glamorous designer and mother of 3 tells us that this collection is inspired by lotus, the aquatic flower colloquially known as Water Lily.
This is the first time we’re featuring the Nigerian fashion house and it’s one for the books.
Neutral and soft aqua colours dominate the collection lending a girly touch to some looks while the floral elements bring Summer vibes.
Just like the arresting flower, this collection is unique in the manner in which it acutely captures the effervescent, confident demeanor of the Yutee Rone woman. The collection is intentionally youthful and cuts across her many, many adventures, international travels, and interests as a modern woman.
The designer, Yutee Rone, employs a seasoned and pragmatic approach to the collection, choosing cool, breezy pastels over dull colors. The same care and attention is employed in the – ultimately – impeccable finishing. Overall, this is a testament to what Yutee can do with very limited use of color or print — a lot.
