It’s the SEPTEMBER ISSUE!
Hello TGC lovers, we’re kind of obsessed with the September issue of most international magazines, like Vogue and Elle (Faves!). However, we’ve seen our favourite African celebs and fashionistas here and there looking super stunning on our magazines.
We had to find them and show them to you! From Lisa Folawiyo looking effortlessly chic to Faithia Balogun and our fave female Dj, DJ Cuppy in a printmania mode.
Check out what’s on our radar this September:
Genevieve magazine‘s September Issue is all about fashion! See Lisa Folawiyo looking all shades of chic denim on the cover page. In order to celebrate the fast-growing African fashion industry, the magazine caught up with the talented designer who recently released her Autumn-Winter collection (CLICK HERE TO SEE) to talk life, fashion and money.
Genevieve magazine focuses on fashion this time as it features a list of emerging and impactful young designers as well. It covers Genevieve Nnaji‘s style story, a ‘Fashion Fetish’ feature with Ene Maya Lawani and Fade Ogunro, men’s view on nudity in fashion, relationship features.
The shoot was by the incredible Lakin Ogunbanwo
TW Magazine goes ultra luxe with their first ever first ever Luxury edition. The cover girl is Aisha Muhammed-Oyebode, the daughter of late head of state, Murtala Muhammed.
Aisha is a wife, lawyer, philanthropist and retail mogul. If you have seen new mid-market focused companies popping up here and there across Nigeria, well hold Aisha responsible for them. Pandora Jewelry, BO Concepts Furniture and most recently Modan Luxury Fashion are some of the brands that she has introduced to Nigeria.
“I Believe Luxury is Affordable” – Aisha Muhammed-Oyebode
Speaking exclusively to TW Magazine, the fempreneur discusses her father’s legacy, some entrepreneurial lessons over the years learnt from her mother and grandmother, her stand on women’s advocacy and why luxury is for everyone and not for few individuals.
The edition was shot and creatively directed by Ty Bello.
Straight off the DJ Cuppy Takes Africa tour bus to tv shows and interview, check out DJ Cuppy for Zen Magazine.
